The Strawberry Patch December 2021

Winter Season

Welcome to Strawberry Vale preschool. We had a great year and now Christmas is right around the corner. Enjoy your holiday break! The return date is January 5th, and your little one is welcome to bring ONE item for show and tell.

The weather will continue to be chilly and wet, so we have moved indoors, so no need to bundle them up for drop off unless you are walking to school. Please still bring gloves, boots, rain gear, warm hats, and spare clothing in their backpacks in case they get wet because we will still be having outside time for the last hour of the day. Please be advised that this is the season of runny noses and coughs, please assess your kiddo’s health prior to drop off.

Peek of the Month

Inside play has opened a whole new world for our little ones. Our mini humans built a giant felt snowman. They created some pretty cool and wild looking snowman. They played pirates, they blasted pom poms out of cannons and catapulted them into a doll house. Their imaginations are always exploding with new ways to have fun. When playing outside, they built roads and walkways and had a blast with boxes. Who doesn’t like playing in/with boxes?

Inside our littles recent highlight was finding a big bin of garland and decorating their coffee shop. It was truly beautiful watching them decorate with the festive sparkling garland.

The best part is that these beautiful individuals have really connected and have built such precious friendships.

Fundraising

At Strawberry Vale Preschool, we are a cooperative school, meaning, we fundraise each year to help pay for necessities, maintenance, and for new things for the school.

If you have not participated in this year’s fundraising please contact your class rep for details.

Bottle Drive:  Please save your empties and return to depot under Strawberry Vale Preschool account, one of the participating bottle depots is located at 4261 Glanford Ave.

Our ongoing fundraiser we have throughout the school year is the infamous Scolastic Book reading club. Every order you make, a small percentage goes to our little school. Interested in labels?
